Practical AI setup for real work

You know AI can transform how you work and live. I make sure it actually does.

I help small teams and independent operators turn AI tools like Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Codex into reliable assistants, workflows, and custom applications built for how your business actually runs.

Years building AI with real teams and real data. Not demos or templates. The work is turning AI into something people actually trust day to day: better setup, better context, better habits, better workflows.

How we typically start

A short conversation, first.

We start with a 20–30 minute intro call. The goal is to understand how your work actually flows, where things feel unnecessarily manual, and whether the right next step is a workflow, an assistant, a custom application, or something simpler.

From there, the move depends on what will help most right now. If I don't think I can help, I'll say so.

What I help with

Four connected bodies of work.

Helping people use AI better. Helping teams put AI into their real workflows. Building custom assistants, agents, and applications when off-the-shelf isn't enough.

01

1:1 AI Enablement

Hands-on sessions to set up your AI so it actually works for you. The tools you already use, your documents, your priorities, your real admin. No generic AI tips.

We focus on

  • Configuring your AI around your projects, documents, and priorities
  • Better prompts and structure so you're not starting from scratch every time
  • Picking the right tool for the right job
  • Making it stick, so the setup is one you'll actually keep using

Concrete examples

  • Automatic email triage with drafted responses waiting for review
  • Prep notes before meetings and follow-ups drafted after
  • Weekly planning and recurring admin that runs on a set schedule
  • Document summaries, rewrites, and research pulled together in minutes

Session options

90-minute working session CA$450

Focused on your own workload, tools, and admin bottlenecks.

3-session setup package CA$1,350

Deeper setup, refinement, and habit-building over time.

Team AI Workflow Setup

When there's a clear team use case, I put AI into your real operational workflows, on whichever platform fits your team best.

Often includes

  • Drafting, summarizing, classifying, or organizing inside a real workflow
  • Guardrails and review steps where mistakes are expensive
  • Clear ownership so work doesn't disappear into an AI experiment
  • A practical rollout around the tools you already use

Common examples

  • Lead intake → qualification → draft reply → CRM update
  • Meeting notes → summaries, tasks, and follow-up emails
  • Inbox triage with drafted responses for review
  • Weekly operations summaries so owners start Monday oriented

One workflow at a time, so scope, cost, and trust all stay manageable.

Custom Assistants & Agents

Focused assistants and agents tailored to your documents, language, and recurring tasks. Built on whichever platform fits the job.

Practical helpers for

  • Drafting and rewriting content
  • Answering internal questions from a known knowledge base
  • Preparing first drafts and summaries faster
  • Supporting day-to-day decisions without starting from zero each time

Implemented with

  • Claude workspaces, Claude Cowork, or Claude agents
  • ChatGPT custom GPTs or OpenAI Assistants
  • Microsoft Copilot agents and Copilot Studio
  • Google Gemini Gems or NotebookLM-based assistants

I pick the platform after understanding the work, not the other way around.

04

Custom AI Applications

When a workflow or assistant isn't enough, I design and build custom applications tailored to your business. Purpose-built software with AI working under the hood.

Typical builds

  • Internal tools for a specific operational problem (quoting, intake, review, reporting)
  • AI-powered dashboards, document processors, and structured assistants
  • Integrations with the data, CRMs, and systems you already use
  • Clean interfaces people on your team will actually open every day

Built with modern tooling

  • Shipped quickly using modern AI coding tools like Codex
  • Model-flexible, so we can pick the AI that fits the job
  • Hosted where your data should live (cloud or your own infrastructure)
  • Scoped to one real job first, expanded once it proves useful

For when a chat assistant or generic SaaS can't cover what your business actually needs.

How I work

Small, proven, expanding.

The approach is intentionally simple. Start with one thing, prove it's useful, and go from there.

  1. 01 Identify

One bottleneck or recurring task worth solving first.

  2. 02 Decide

An off-the-shelf tool, a team platform, or a custom build. Sometimes none of them.

  3. 03 Set up

Built around your real context, files, and workflow. Tailored, not templated.

  4. 04 Prove

Make sure it's reliable enough to actually keep using. Expand only once the value's obvious.

Why this approach works

Most AI setups disappoint for the same few reasons.

Where it goes wrong
  • Treat AI like a blank chat box instead of setting it up around real context
  • Pick a tool by brand, not by the job that actually needs doing
  • Rely on people remembering what to prompt every time
  • Skip verification, guardrails, and real workflow fit
My focus is different
  • Context-rich setups and role-specific workflows
  • The right tool for the job, whether off-the-shelf or custom-built
  • Reliability over cleverness
  • Steady improvements that actually stick
  • Clear ownership when something breaks
About

The same pattern kept showing up.

I built Kyva after watching a lot of organizations buy powerful AI tools that never really changed the day-to-day work. The problem was rarely the model. It was poor setup, weak adoption, low trust, messy context, and workflows that never quite made it into real use.

Hiveframe grew out of solving that gap, directly with the people doing the work.

Today I work with small businesses and individuals across the full AI toolkit to set up assistants, workflows, and custom applications that actually reduce admin, improve follow-through, and hold up in real use.

Who this is for

A good fit if you recognize yourself here.

If you want generic AI hype, this probably isn't for you.

If you want AI set up, or built, so your work feels lighter and more reliable, it is.
